Call for Submissions

Call for BLUE SKY RESEARCH papers. This year at ACE we will have a new paper category for Blue Sky Research. The papers should present the most futuristic and breathtaking research. In this category no HCI type evaluation is required. The paper can focus on the blue sky idea and technology. Accepted papers will be published in the proceedings by Springer as for other full papers. Please submit your Blue Sky Papers by September 15th. In the header of the paper please specify “Blue Sky Paper” submission so it can be specially reviewed.

Publication of the proceedings will be in LNCS Lecture Notes in Computer Science

Papers should describe original, complete and unpublished work that seeks to advance our current knowledge in any of the conference topics. Papers must provide sufficient details and support for their claims and conclusions. They must cite relevant published research, highlight novel aspects of the submission, and identify its most significant contributions. Papers are evaluated on the basis of originality, significance, quality of research, quality of writing, and contribution to conference program diversity.

Papers may range from 2 to 20 pages long (excluding references). However, paper length must match the size of the contribution. Papers accepted and presented at the conference will be included in the proceedings of ACE 2018, which are expected to be published by Springer in its Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.

Since 2017, there was a radical change in the format of paper presentations at ACE. Participants are required to present their work in an interactive style. More information on the presentation style can be found on

Submission Requirements:

All submissions must use the Springer CS Proceedings format. Latex and Microsoft Word templates are available for download at this link:

Submissions must be made via the CMT online submission system at Submissions sent by email or any other methods will not be considered. Papers should be submitted in PDF format. Any supplementary materials can be submitted in either PDF format or in a ZIP file.

In order to facilitate the double-blind reviewing process, all submissions are required to be anonymous. Authors should take the following steps when preparing your submission:
