Special Session Women

Special Session on Women Inventors and Pioneers in Entertainment Computing – ACE 2018

Call for Papers

Historically, women have been forced to play roles decreed by social norms, cultural ethics, religious beliefs, and certain policies. Women still find it a struggle to earn an education and succeed in a chosen career. However, there were courageous and pioneering women who inspired countless other women to reach the glass ceiling. The current dialogue on contributions of women in a variety of male-dominated fields is encouraging and enlightening.  In honour of contributions of women to the field of entertainment computing, ACE 2018 would like to inspire future generations of women by creating a dialogue on women Inventors and Pioneers in the field of Entailment Computing.

We would invite papers from these topics -but not limited to- that discuss women and their contribution to entrainment computing.
